Job Description
Data Engineer
This individual will be responsible for the supporting application which deals with the incidents and do the initial analysis from a technical perspective and provide updates in business terms and language.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with client team members as needed to resolve first level of technical issues.
- Specify, demonstrate, and scope entire solutions that deliver business value to the client / prospect.
- Excellent in communication and able to work independently as needed along with being a strong team player.
Other Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed Educational Institute.
• Ready to work in multiple time zones
• Good understanding of scheduling , ticketing and incident management tools.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps will be added advantage
• Retail domain knowledge will be good to have
• DataBricks certification will be added advantage (Other than Azure Fundamentals).
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-3 years Development experience SQL and Teradata.
- RDBMS Knowledge
- Extensive Knowledge of Databricks (preferably in Azure)
- Good understand of batch and real time data along with hands-on experience in handling unstructured data.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and Microstrategy.
Basic knowledge in Unix and Azure
